Space Hulk Terminators (Games Workshop)

Post by Stuart »

Hi Guys,

So here is the first squad of miniatures that I've painted up for my Space Hulk game - just look at that lovely 1980's moulding!
This is the first full squad of GW stuff that I've painted up since 1998. I'm pretty happy with them, although there are some things I want to change on the next batch, most of all the bases.

I've set myself the target of getting the other squad of 5 and the 20 Aliens painted up by the end of the year. My 15 year old really fancies playing it but I can't bring myself to play with unpainted figures - I think it's be a much better introduction even if they're only base coated - so I've said I'll play a few games with her over Christmas.

Cheers!

Thanks Guys - You're too kind!

Kari - They're on 28km bases - so about the size of a humbrol acrylic paint pot.

WH40K Is all 28mm. Even though the figures are like 30-40mm tall (because genetically engineered giants)
Love these, nice work.
I would love it if they came out with an "Action figure" scale termie or even marines, that would be so awesome. Just for a display model.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I was going through the archive and ran across this. How did I miss it?

I love Terminator squads and you did them as Blood Angels right? I don't know the insignias.

They came out great!
Now that we know that.... What have we learned?...
