Looks awesome really makes it pop! The Y-wing was a very dirty spacecraft so don't worry about doing to much.

Here it is with all the pipes on it. I left the pipes in the dark gray. I really like the look of it even more.

Oh and this will be posed in flight. This was unplanned as I wanted it with the gear down. What they fail to tell you in the instructions, is that when you build the nose, you're supposed to leave a panel off if you want the gear down. I found out way to late.

Medic, The pipe details look superb in dark grey. I always felt the Y-Wing was such an amazing concept, and you have laid the foundation for a superb final model! I would actually be excited about a flight pose, but thank you so much for letting us know about the lack of clarification in the instructions. Looking forward to more!

Pipes look great in the dark grey, if you look at the studio models some of the pipes are also in bare copper.
