I pondered long over the usage of an owl for the Forum Avatar and have come to the conclusion that an owl represents knowledge and the goal of our Forum likewise is the spread of knowledge. A few nights ago I started calling the owl “Archimedes” after the owl in “The Once and Future King,” which relates quite well, methinks. So until someone changes my mind that is where I am! Cheers, Stuart.

I love the part about parents not being too pleased over cost of his first kit that he bought on his own... :giggles:

Good stuff Bruce....

This is really a great idea!

The first interview was very interesting to read.
Both the "subject" Mostrich but also the narration of the article were P-r-o-f-e-s-s-i-o-n-a-l-l-y made !

And very much appreciated it was published on Friday morning European time !
(as I assume most of, at least active SPAMmers are from either Europe or North America)

Sincere thanks to Bruce for taking the time, effort and creativity to spread the word for our little asylum.
I also see the analogy between owl and the each one must teach one-philosophy. Though our old one needs a makeover. It has that angry look.
