Bandai TIE Striker

Post by silentbob33 »

Next on the bench is Bandai's TIE Striker from Rogue One. I'm building it for a group build on another forum, but thought I'd post it here too. I'm just getting started with it and haven't done much except for put a little bit of paint on the pilot. I'll show another pic of him once he's all done.

I'll be watching, Bandai makes great Star Wars kits. I picked this one up at HL a few months back for some reason they had only the TIE Strikers on clearance.

Glad to have you guys along! I got this one on clearance at Hobby Lobby as well.

I finished the pilot. Little bit of detail painting, Future for the gloss areas, and the decals on the helmet.

He looks good—like the controlled use of Future to make armored areas pop realistically! Great job so far!

I'll be watching this as well. I got one too; mine was purchased on sale at the Blue Fin booth at the San Diego Comicon. Looking forward to seeing more on this.

Thanks Bruce! I saw the Future trick on YouTube somewhere. Glad to have you along Duke.

I finally got around to finishing the cockpit, and there really wasn't a whole lot to it. I painted it in Panzer Gray and dry brushed with RLM 75. Gloss, decals, then flat.
