Apologies for the crap photo again (blooming crap phone camera!!!) but I thought I'd share a quick snap.

I've got my paint set and have put a couple of coats of RLM 70 over the wings - the paint is very nice and brushes on really well.

Looks like you’ve got quite a line up of water clean up paints there Stuart. :hmm:

And yes, the RLM70 green does look to have covered very nicely.

Thanks Gents!

Carlos - As well as the enamels I do indeed have a lot of Acrylics. Mainly Humbrol and Citadel, but I have about 8 Hataka sets of various nations, Akan, model air, Tamiya, Revell aqua and some other random ones. I must love acrylics and enamels in equal measure I guess.

That’s a great job there on those wings! Very nice Stewart, the paint looks lovely. I can’t get over the things you do with your brush, I could never do that. Making awesome progress my man!

Thanks Kenny!

Apologies for being a bit quiet over the past few days. I've been having fun with my son being up all night. Between Friday evening and Tuesday morning I had about 6 hours sleep... Good times :headbang: Thanksfully he's on the mend and I managed a full night last night.

Another crappy phone image (it's all I have time for at the moment) - but I'm progressing on the painting,

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt!

Paint work looks quite nice! Excellent would also describe it. Well done!

Photos are not that bad. Someone put one on a FB page that was so out of focus, you could barely tell what it was.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks Lyle - it does actually look a lot better in the flesh than it does this photo.

Great work on the pattern Stuart. That is one great advantage for had brushing on the Luftwaffe splinter pattern camo schemes. The angles and hard edges are much easier to achieve.

Thanks Carlos! It's not 100% straight in places but it'll do :lashed:
