Thanks! Yep, it takes up a lot of space!

Or you could have gone with FS30450. Humbrol #94 Brown Yellow Matte or Gunze H71 Middlestone. I found the Airfix Victor in scalemates.com and was able to locate the correct FS #. I think the Humbrol Brown Yellow is your best bet.

Thanks for digging out this info. I pretty much never think to go there. On this one, I am going with what I have.
and an edit....I did order a bunch on Humbrol for this, I believe. They are enamel and I would rather stick with the acrylic for now. No one will ever know but me, huh?

Lyle, Humbrol makes a line of Acrylic paints as well. Not quite as extensive as their enamel paint line, but lots of colors. They can be airbrushed with Testors acrylic thinner, if you don’t have their own stuff.

As is often my case, I purposefully looked for their acrylics. Thought I ordered acrylics …..As Gomer says, "Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!"

I did try, just now, to incorporate some of Blacksheep214's advice....changed my color a bit. For grins and giggles, I thought I'd brush paint the beastie just for fun. . . because, Scale Modeling is Fun!

Ah the memories that latest pic brings! I remember building mine the same, only I used the two-tone camouflage. It was quite the grizzly indeed, which has prepared me well for the Kodiac bear I'm building in the An-124!

Keep it coming Lyle! Brush it babay! Scale modeling is fun! :yahoo: :giggles:
