Looking at the photos to me it looks like the body was all hardline camo but the tail looks different, it looks like soft line. Maybe the tail was replaced or repaired at one time?

Edit: I just reread your post again, the top two photos of 4 look like the tail is in soft edge and the body is in hard edge camo. The colorized photo just isn't good enough to tell for sure its to pixelated. The B/w of 8 looks to maybe be a mix of hard and soft line camo.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Most important, it’s about having fun in the process!

While I awaited the decals to set, started tinkering with the F-2 Trop!

This one comes with some goodies! I have been stoked to do a Friedrich version and I will be finally getting to do so.

4th and final build for the group build and then I am moving on to something completely different.

The “F” normally means Friedrich, but in my case it is Finale!

Just a quick update of the decals in place, next is some small parts painting, wash, exhaust, and dullcote.
