Placed the order on it. In the meantime, I’ve been working on the X-Wing kit. Photos to follow later...

The metal petals arrived Tuesday. They fit perfectly.... for the right side...….. :shoutout: :shoutout:

However, not so much for the left side. :bored: :bored:
I had to flip it over in order to have it in the angle as the right side. I thought about trimming it but the angle would look all wrong and too short. I carefully scored with a pointed blade the best I can. I'm not happy with it but f*** it. Nothing I can do about it now.

Tom….all I can say now is that once all the paint is on and you've either Molotow'd or BMF'd that piece that you might be able to fill in the black depressions of that trim piece straight enough to get it to look right. You're really putting a lot into this and you are to be commended for your efforts buddy.

The thought did come to mind once I paint it Molotov chrome.

Finally finished painting the body the two tone colors - White and Desert Rose (Rustoleum rattle can) The final coat of Desert Rose was applied yesterday afternoon well before the snow in the forecast. Ain't she purty? :lashed:

Now to let the paint cure for a few days before hitting the trim with Molotov chrome pen.

Nice!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Oh man, those Bel Air lines and colors. Looking good Tom!
