For me bench time is when everyone is asleep.

Dinner plans with friends and family tripped me up, plus back-to-school shopping for my sons. This post is at 4am my time, BECAUSE everyone else is asleep!

4 AM, that's late or should we say early!
That looks very much like a classic Airfix kit from some decades ago! It's big even in 1/72 scale.
But..
Do my eyes see one propeller blade missing ?

4am is wake up time on work days... and REM sleep on days off..
Nice work on this old Fort. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Working control surfaces and all...

March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Lovely old Classic that - rivets or raised lines?

Re: Airfix 1/72 B-17G as Liberty Belle
I am an early riser, mostly because it is the only way to get any 'me time'. One of the props was broken in the box, but the part was there. I painted them and then broke one and somehow lost it. It must be next to my GI Joe with the kung fu grip I lost when I was twelve. I decided to replace the props now that I have to, and the kit wheels are horrible and need replacing as well. Anyhow, the plane has raised rivets instead of raised panel lines. I will try to use a latex filler to preserve them. See how that works . I also used wire to replace the flimsy plastic 50cal barrels.

Raised rivets - woohoo what fun! I don't mind them though they can be hard to preserve. I think the Battle I built last year had them.
