70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I got a chance to check the contents of this kit this morning. As excited as I was in acquiring this at the Syrcon show yesterday, reality hit me.

Here's the open box shot...

Looked like everything would be there, right? Guess again.....

Tell me what you see missing? I know what is missing - about 80% of the important sprues trees. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

The most obvious is no instruction guide and decal set except for license plates decals and instrument panel gauges insert.

I couldn't really check the contents inside because of the crowded aisle so I took a chance and bought it anyway. Looks like I'm gonna have to find another Baldwin Motion Camaro kit. For now, this is shelved for the time being.

Ouch. Sorry to learn the news. That’s a raw deal. Your plan to set the kit aside for a moment and find another one is solid. Go for it.

No chrome tree, no chassis and interior floor, numerous other parts.... at least I have doubles of certain parts. Oh well, lesson learned.

find the guy next year and …..I'll leave it up to you. Don't guess you have any contact info? Are the missing parts specific to this car?

Yup.... two obvious main missing parts - the chassis and interior floor, chrome tree, and other bits and pieces. Instruction guide and decal sheet would be nice too.

The decals believe it or not we're never included, at least in the first issue of this kit years ago.

Lemme check my stash. I may have the latest release of this kit in stock. It's complete except for the engine I think.
