Throttle linkage is around 90% complete. Still gotta put the lever from the firewall, throttle quadrant and the lever up to the carb linkage.

Absolutely exquisite work, Joe. TGIF. Also congratulations on your assembly to date. I had a question about display. I’m pretty sure I have seen the hood displayed open on vertical poles. Is that the case for this particular car, or was that something added for displaying the engine post racing? And if my description is unclear and has you scratching your head, let me know and I will find a photo. Cheers

Edit - here ya go

That's a great idea Bruce. I'll be looking at that a little closer. :shoutout:

As Chris Farley would say if you bang your head on the hood above..

Will be working on the rest of the linkage either tomorrow or the next day but there's really not a whole lot left except for wheelie bars and rear bumper and then after that it's just odds and ends.

I see you do it. You tell us how....I still can't wrap my old brain around it. That is stunning work.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

You'll be spraying nice auto paint coats before you know it Lyle.

Stance ....Check!

Overall Fit.....Check!!

So far it seems that everything is going to work. Just gotta get those inner fenders / shock towers in now and we're home free for the final assembly phase. This is EXACTLY what I was shooting for. The only thing that has me bothered is an excessive angle on the engine. I've got a couple of things I can do to help with it I think. :hmm: On the home stretch now.......
