Thanks again guys,
I got all of the torpedo planes on, strapped down and will add the 15 high level bombers next. I need to apply Future to the canopies, attach the wheel chocks and add the pitot tubes before glueing them to the deck.

The rest of the Kates

They should fit up to the center elevator.

Mustang, it's easy to miss because the build doesn't have it's own thread.

Well I finished the 1st wave air wing. I'll go back and add just a touch of wash to each but for the most part they're done, tied down and chocked.

Now onto the crew, most of which has the first coat on and many of the pilots have most of their fight gear painted. The new Northstar figures should be here in a couple of weeks but they really won't impact much of what I have going on.

It looks like the chocks on the first Zeek came off so I'll replace those tonight.
I was thinking of doing a little steam at the bow arrow for wind direction but they probably didn't turn that on until just before take off. Any thoughts?

Beautiful! :shoutout:

As far as the bow steam plume goes, why not add that for just a little more dramatic effect? I imagine that they had it activated shortly before turning into the wind prior to launch.

OK, that's a simple addition plus It would add just that extra amount of action :hmm:

So now onto the crew.
Officers

AA gunners

Aircrews

Maintenance crew. From what I can find, some had off-white shoes :hmm:

The rest of the crew. Mostly air maintenance crew and regular crew with black shoes and a few more AA crew.

Thankfully the regular crew are easy. Airbrush white, a spot of flesh on the face and hands, a touch of black for hair and shoes, a spot of white on the cap and bang! you're done.
I received the Northstar order yesterday (10 days! Record time!) but they sent it signature required and nobody was home. So I left the brown tag with my signature on it in the mailbox and updated the delivery on the USPS website, so I should get them today.

Also, started getting back to the other orphans on the shelf such as the Helldiver and Spitfire. Lost the canopy for the Spit but I'll swing by HL and see if they have one in stock. I think their kits are 40% off right now. I will also bring out the F-35 and blow it off.
