Sorry, I was so excited of the visual result, that I could not focus on words :-D

If I am lucky (aka my wife agrees to take a small detour) I will visit my local hobby shop tomorrow.. Perhaps I should buy one of those chipping fluids

What chipping fluid did you use, i would also want such that is good still months afterwards!

It's the stuff by mig, but not the "heavy effects". But I think it depends more how penetrable the paint on top is. In the end it's just hairspray and maybe you should buy just that.

Yes, hairspray, not MiG fluid, is a very good option for us all. Thanks, Torben.

Decant it and check if it's viscosity is in the right area. Then wait until it's gased out and ready for airbrushing.

The Ammo chipping fluid works great for stuff like that too. I used it on my Y-wing.

I love the smell of freshly grinded road wheels on a Saturday afternoon.

Carlos knows his tanks. :giggles:
The Leo 2 is all over the front pages of any newspaper and magazine since the discussion of sending them to the Ukraine came up. Simultaneously all the Meng and RFM kits got sold out in the shops so I hit the trigger and got me an A6 from Rye Field. Pretty impressed so far. The parts count for hull and turret is high (around 420 combined) which is caused by the fact that those parts are the same used for the full interior kit. So every single hatch and cover can be posed opened up.
Surface detail is second to none. Anti slip covering looks convincing to me. Also the fit is pretty good so far.

The tracks demand 249 parts. EACH!

It's good to be back at the bench.
