An update...

I gotta admit, this is one of the hardest Bare Metal Foil session I've ever done. So many trim work on tis Impala. And I haven't done the vertical trim on the clear part yet! that shouldn't be hard at all. I had to order more BMF sheet and I gotta be honest. it seemed much more thinner than usual considering the package said "New & Improved". :bored:

There are a couple tiny spots I need to touch up on but I'm going to use Molotow chrome pen for that instead.

Nice work! Don’t know how you get it to hold around the corners...

Believe me, the rear deck trimwork isn’t easy. I did 2 strips of BMF about 1 1/4 “ x 1/8 “ on each side. The downward triangle is one strip big enough to conjoin the two points where they ended.
The key in working with BMF is work in sections and work slowly. Oh yeah use those Z-series #11 blades and lots of cheap Q-tips for buffing it down.

Ahhh...I had thought about wider strips.

Anytime I do any type of trimwork, I measure whatever the length I need by about 1/8” wide.
