In a nutshell...
Yellow Nose, Green Nose, Blue Nose, Red tails, Yellow Tails Checkered Nose, etc...
I mentioned about possibly doing a Group Build on just that above awhile back. Basically, any Allied aircraft during WW2 that sported any type of Colored or Checkered Noses and/or Tails.
Start date:
January 4th - August 30th 2021 I can extend it to the December 31, 2021 if need be.
Any scale
Anybody interested in participating in this Group Build?

Three questions:
1, are crossover builds allowed? Something that can be in more than one GB simultaneously?
2, how much nose or tail/color is required? A theater ID color simple spinner, cowl band, or rudder stripe? Or a larger full nose or tail type unit coloring?
3, How does this work with twins like the P-38, Mosquito, and such? Spinners, or the nose itself?

And another question for you... As RAF number 112 Squadron invented the Shark Mouth motif on the P-40, would this be acceptable?

To answer some of the questions by Stuart and Carlos.
Cross overs will be allowed
Yes - Shark mouths do count
When I mentioned the colors on noses and tails, they have to be either or both. Think Tuskegee Red Tails or the Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney P-51 Mustangs.
As for twin engine fighters/bombers - P-38 Lightnings for example as long as they have color on cowlings/spinners/noses and/or tails. Even shark mouths qualifies. Even if they have checkered cowlings or tails - Invasion stripes alone don't qualify unless they have colored cowlings or tails. I have seen some bombers with striped tails.
I hope this answered your questions.

Does nose art count? Like on WW2 bombers?

As long there is a coloration of sorts on tail or rudder as shown in above samples, yes.
For example, the Memphis Belle doesn't count since it's all olive drab in color..
