It's not bad - I've never used one of those sets that fitted perfectly.

Got some primer on, then fixed a couple of issues, added some Tamiya AS-12 bare metal. I hold jkim wholly responsible :whistle: :bag: that I decanted a bit of hairspray (Tresomme Extra Firm Control with 'all day humidity resistance) and brushed it on the wing roots and around a vew panels...did not do all of them. Worst case? Aint one.

Tamiya rattle can primer, Tamiya rattle can AS-12 ...that is it. No tricks.

That Tamiya AS-12 sure does go down smooth. I hope your chipping works the way you want it too.
