Possible subject: a yellow tailed Polikarpov I-153

Yellow Nose, Green Nose, Blue Nose, Red tails, Yellow Tails Checkered Nose, etc...

Basically, any Allied aircraft during WW2 that sported any type of Colored or Checkered Noses and/or Tails.

Thanks for the comments guys, progress has been kind of slow. But that is just how I build...

Still, any progress is good and I have taken een next step: base coat black. Next up A-14 grey, I will be using Akan paint for that.

After a pause of half a year I got to work on this build. I am home alone for the weekend so I was able to put in some hours. I painted the cockpit with Alan paint. I really like those and they are pre mixed for USSR colours. The homemade resin seat worked fine. And although the cockpit can be barely see the seat is the only thing that you can see.
I also installed the home made resin exhaust pipes. That was a bit more difficult due to the resin stubs and the tight fit of the four piece cowling. I will have to use some filler there. The rest of the kit was an easy build. Next to do : filler and sanding.

I also made a control rod for the tailplane but it is very difficult to see that.
