Revell 1/32 P-51B Mustang "Berlin Express"

Yellow Nose, Green Nose, Blue Nose, Red tails, Yellow Tails Checkered Nose, etc...

Basically, any Allied aircraft during WW2 that sported any type of Colored or Checkered Noses and/or Tails.

Not a good idea since this is Mother's Day weekend. Unless you want to be in the doghouse. :ballbat: :bored:

Anyhow... she is done.

Decals are not the greatest and translucent - particularly the yellow checkered area. Fit wasn't too bad but did have minor flash. Canopy was a PITA to work with though. Nothing seem to fit correctly since it came in 6 pieces.

Weathering I used black and light grey chalk mixed in water and Dawn dish soap. Applied it last night and wiped some off but enough to leave some on for realism.

Since there was a lack of detail for wing mounted machine guns, I improvised using brass tubing for them.

Thank you Lyle, Carlos and Clint. I would build another Berlin Express only this time in 1/48 scale. I know Tamiya has a nice P-51B Mustang kit I’ve been eyeing on for some time now.
