I can't remember the last time I started an aircraft model. Sheesh! What's it been now........five years?? Just haven't felt comfortable with my painting and weathering skills until the finish up of my Ar 234 last year. Additionally, automotive modeling has given me a new spin on airbrushing. Well....I guess it's about time to bust out with one huh? Seeing John's build in progress has spurred me on to take on one of my all time fave jet aircraft......the Me-262.

We'll be going with Tamiya's offering So.....let's dance.

Ooooh cool. I'll be watching. I want this kit as I expand my fledgling Luftwaffe wing.

Great stuff Joe, it'll be great to see you build a jet again. that's a cool kit too, I built most of one last year.... Can't remember why I binned it :hmm:

Joe, this will be fantastic watching this one come together. I remember the Ar-234 well, and I always thought you had better skills with aircraft than I did. This is gonna be an awesome thrill ride!

Well you sure could have picked a worse kit and subject to get back into the aircraft game... :hmm:

Let's do it! Good to see you back on an aircraft build, Joe. I've not built too many Tamiya kits but I'm thinking it will be a smooth build. Let me know if you need any detail references... my current build at LSP has a good collection of interior shots.

This is a nice kit, only place that's a little odd is with the front metal gear bay. I'll definitely be watching.
