It's amazing at that stage of the war the Germans were still worried about putty in the panels

The 335 was developed and in flight test in 1944, before the situation completely went to hell for them. For flight test with the development type aircraft in the photo I imagine that every trick in the book would be used to squeeze out some extra speed.
And thank you for that. Now I know I can sand off most of the panel lines on my old Monogram kit and not worry about rescribing them.

Cockpit is done and the fuselage is ready to be closed up

This is probably the best out of box cockpit detail I've ever worked on it's just amazing.
Still not sure about how to build this. Wings off or on?
Any suggestions?

Thanks for looking in!

Wouh, it's not only the video that does double speed, but that you have finished the cockpit build so quickly, with (in my opinion quite advanced) scratchbuilding is just crazy! Would take for me way much longer-

And the result is very good.

Your videos are always so entertaining to watch !

Thank you so much Kari! It means a lot to me. What Carlos is doing right now is some crazy scratch building, all I've done here is just added a bit of wire and turned a staple into some foot straps.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos, I plan to continue making more. One thing I have noticed since starting them, It's forcing me to not cut corners. In the past I probably wouldn't have bothered making them straps but now my thinking is I better do it right and put something down there.

Lovely work. I do admire what you do.

Sure would like to see an airworthy exampl flying today. Need to dig my old Minogram kit out and finish it.

SKOL! Clint—so excited to see your work! What a beautiful job with the cockpit. There is a small exterior detail which may not be present; this detail is the handle which releases the ladder. I am not sure if your sources show this or if this is present. It was not present on the 1:32 ZM A-0. Here is a wonderful example made by Chris Wauchop:

I did the old Monogram kit of that in my early teen years. Looking forward to seeing more. Too bad they don’t do one in 1/32 scale. I’d love to see jkim build one.
