I would paint it freehand. The differences in color is so subtle, you'll never see the over spray.

Agreed. Not to mention that the real ones usually have a soft edge line between the colors of the scheme. Only the markings have hard edges.

They're a lot like Hornets/Super Hornets. It's impossible sometimes to tell that there's more than one color, especially the ones that have been is service for a while.

Well I went free hand and it was going very well until I sloshed a bit of paint out of my color cup over the wing :ballbat: I think I can fix it by going back over with the dark ghost grey. I have to say I really like MRP paints. They spray great right from the bottle - very happy with them.

I'll do what I can. Touched it up and shot future over the entire kit. Looking at the decals now.
