Never heard of a simple shower replacement lol. When we bought are house me and my father-in-law was just planning on doing some minor repairs. It's a 1895 Victorian style, no insulation was in the walls so next thing you know we had the entire house gutter down to the studs, I rewired the entire house with a 200amp service, replumbed everything in Pex, put in all new windows, insulated, drywalled put in new kitchen cabinets, redid the clawfoot tub in the upstairs bathroom and added new period style faucets, found the house had tiger oak trim and a beautiful tiger oak staircase and spindles that was covered up in white paint along with two huge tiger oak pocket doors so they got stripped and redone and so much more I just can't think of right now lol.
