I also started cleaning up the support braces for the pylons. They too are incorrect and are replaced with resin ones.

Looking good Mike! Seems like a easy enough fix for the hinge so far.

Thanks! But that's a LOT of plastic to remove from the top. I'm rescribing the top half of the wings first so I don't lose them.

Well it wasn't as hard as I thought. Just a LOT of work.

And seriously, aside from those well versed on the Prowler, who can’t be that numerous, most folks will not know the difference in the wing fold. :hmm:

Very true. And actually if I hadn't seen it in the Wolfpack update set and read it in the Detail & Scale book, I wouldn't have caught it.

Nice removal work! Removing that type of bump from a relatively flat surface is one of the more tedious types of removals for me.

Thanks John! I've gotten the other wing fold removed. Just need to sand it out and rescribe the rest of the wing.

I agree, the work you're doing looks really fine. Mike, is the Monogram model the same as the Revell A-6? Like this one: http://www.spamodeler.com/forum/viewtop ... =21&t=2661

I'm looking forward to seeing our final result, gonna be cool man!
