Note to self: Don't EVER use Eduard's new decals. :nono:

Nope. Sell it on eBay instead. :giggles: :bag:

Thanks Joe for asking,appreciated!
Everything became and is on hold now due to other stuff that has been coming in between. Nice things though; me and my wife will travel to Finland this Sunday for two weeks. Very late summer vacation, but vacation nevertheless!
BUT, when I’m back I will order the replacement decal set and finalise the build!

Kari!

What a beautiful project! Regardless of Murphy, or any laws, that is an absolutely perfect aircraft!

Another idea could be to use masks. Given your strengths as a painter, I believe you should consider using them as an alternative to using decal films. Perhaps for the future? If you need any decals which are unavailable, send me the size needed and I will look into getting you squared away. I don’t know if this always the case, but an aspect of some AM decals is a degree of incompatibility with solvent based fixatives, so procure more than one and test on a wing using the same paint finish to be on the safe side.

Thank you John for the YouTube link, good stuff and truly helpful!

Bruce, thanks and definitely using masks instead is something I will for sure try in the very near future!

Kari's bench 2021 --> KINGFISHER

Post by KSaarni »

New Year & Time to take some action at my bench!

The name of the game seems to be the Kingfisher and luckily enough I have one in my stash.
But it ain't a 1/32 nor a 1/48, but it's nevertheless a Kingfisher in 1/72 !

Image

Have not yet decided which one it will be..

But looking very much to start this build!

Looked like I started the Kingfisher porn craze.

I love the yellow wing Kingfisher version. If and when I find a newer Kingfisher kit, I’d do the yellow wing version.

Any of those versions would be a treat to see built up. :lashed:
