1/32 Hasegawa FW190D-9 Done 4-26-14

Hey Everyone ,,, where were we before we were interrupted by ,,,, oh never mind ... after Herman cooled down a bit he got color on our 190 and when I say we I mean his,, a quick look at the pe flaps , some Future and a couple day cure and then hope and pray THESE markings are not the same potato chip material as my 109... Glad to see friendly faces making it back to base! As Herman stated to me, ONWARD!

Thanks Everyone for the kind words, we are chipping away at this one, not the greatest but I guess it'll do, I didn't have something torqued right when Herman cranked it over, making a bit of a mess around the cowling, He forgave me (maybe) and getting closer to the end of this one, Thanks for lookin!

A bit further, busied up the gears and a bit more weathering, probably too much to the prop may have to redo... Have a good Easter everyone.

Man that's sure is some fine weathering that youv'e got going on with that D-9 handi. What technique did you use to replicate the scratches on the prop and spinner? That looks way too cool.

Thanks Joe ! A silver pencil, random strikes at different angles and directions, then a rub with the finger to soften up a little.

You know I happen to have one of those in my "tool set". New technique adopted here. You guys make me want to do my D-9 over again sometimes....lol
