The kit is dated 1976. So far, the fit is very surprisingly good for it’s age. No flash at all. This one is coming along beautifully.

More minor assembly work..
Armor plate on front instrument panel
Bottom wing sections glued on.
Drop tanks installed.
Braces glued to engines. Not gonna bother painting the whole thing since I'm not going to see it once it's closed up.

More progress...
No pics but engines installed to each boom.
Green Zinc Chromate is on cockpit and inside landing gear doors. I have decided to include the pilot and radar man to this build.
The office with pilot in place
I couldn't find any reference shot for radar scope behind pilot seat. So I painted the screen green.
The rear radar passenger. I used Vallejo colors on both figures.
This what it's suppose to look like in rear seat. The rear passenger is to be glued in place until the last step.
Next project is a killer - masking the canopy. My plan is to wait til the weekend when I'm more rested. This should be fun...

Looking good, Tom! I’ll have to tackle mine one on these days.
Have you seen the one that Mid-Atlantic is restoring?
