And to think the F-4 Phantom has ridiculous number of stencil decals.... :bored:  :giggles:

I hope so too! I need decals for the life pods, but the person I kept asking for them from will not print them or even really answer me... That is my only holding at the moment

If you do not see what you need there, try writing to him. Alternately you can write J-Bot in Canada to have him make whatever you need. PM me and I will send you his email.

Hm I was considering decals from here, the Amassador Detailing decals from PNT. My experience with PNT however is not on the positive side. I found some decals in my parts stash, from my USS Kobayashi Maru actually that will do the job. I don't think I have enough, but at this point, I think I can decal the saucer and paint the few others on the secondary hull.

I don't need the panelling either, so getting these decals only for the lifeboats wouldn't work as I would have to cut them all out individually... which at that size with my hands, is not an option.

This is coming along nicely! I like that you are doing this and I commend you for doing the -C. I've always wanted to do a full set of Star Trek Enterprise ships from the original to the Galaxy class; preferably all in the same scale. Now that I found this thread, I'll be watching it close

Thank you, you don't see a lot of 2500 Ambassador class starships being built. Do you not like the sovereign class? Also if you want to do all the ships in the same scale, there is a box set.... a bit pricey but could be what you are looking for. Or you could do half of them resin in 1/1400 and then use the 1/1400 AMT kits for the galaxy, ambassador and sovereign.

I did forget about the Sovereign class for some reason. I might have to go with that box set I guess so I can have them all in the same scale. However, i do want to stay away from resin so I'll have to review my possibilities here.

(Apologies for the double post, I forgot I had this thread)
Last week, all of my belongings from the storage unit out of province arrived home. I now have all my model building supplies, so I cracked open an oldie to get started.

I had started this one as a painting test shot, and I hadn't spent much time looking into this specific ship in the show. Having appeared in one of my fave episodes of TNG, the Enterprise C was growing on me. I decided to change the paint scheme to be a little closer to the Enterprise B paint scheme to tie the lot of ships together more. The outspokenness of the enterprise C's flashy paint scheme looked a bit out of place with the more green color I had it in originally. The Enterprise D and Excelsior what it will be sitting next to, and both those ships have a large blue based scheme.

I have a lot of touch ups to cover over painting, so it's far from done. But the next step after the rectangles of different blue are done is clear coat. Then I'm going to paint the escape pod hatches white, and cleanup for over paint will be easier on a cleared surface. Then another clear and it's decals, then a flat clear. The glowing surfaces (nacelles, impulse engine and deflector dish) will be glossed by brush after flat coat.
Thanks for checking in

I think scale sized digi-camo would look great! Looking good so far, and glad you have your supplies, tool and “stuff” in hand.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
