At a place where you actually HAVE 4 seasons. I long for the days to be able to witness things like that again Gary.
Here in Corpus there are only two seasons: 1.) Summer and 2.) Almost Summer

After two winters in Europe, I’ll take the critters. That frozen stuff is nice to visit and see, but I do not want to live in it.Jeeves wrote:I'll take the NY winters over that crap any day...

Same here. We had an ice storm earlier this year but there really wasn't any snow.mustang1989 wrote:At a place where you actually HAVE 4 seasons. I long for the days to be able to witness things like that again Gary.

Re: Dangerous visitor this morning
We have those little buggers here in SW Idaho as well, they generally are pretty small here. The largest one I've seen was only about 2 1/2 inches long. We find them in the desert areas, mostly at night using a blacklight.
On the other hand, I had to deal with this wonderful visitor in my backyard a few weeks ago. I came within inches of this thing when I stepped around my hot tub. I am pretty sure I levitated and walked backwards in the air. He got to take a nice dirt nap.
