Keep chuffing along!
What paint have you chosen for the body colour?

a rousing game of 'paint the pulley, paint the belt, repeat' is going on. in the 4 round, I think. Not too bad all in all, but i'm going back to paint a couple of pulleys gloss black.

Image

I guess these are mold (mould for you non-yanks) seams. I don't know. They were on the Impala as well. They were, of course, on both sides.

Image

got the left side cleaned up, I think. what you see by the door seam has been dealt with.

Yes, those are mold seams, and kudos for taking the time to remove them. I see many so called seasoned modelers who never touch them, and it looks extremely unrealistic. Some are worse to sand than others, and most new tool kits are minimum, but they DO need to be addressed. Btw, a suggestion, hit the interior with some semi gloss clear to knock down some of the shine, or a flat clear even. Looking good sir, and great color. If you're trying to imitate grabber blue, I have some of the real color, I could paint it for you.

Since this is for the wifey, I do want a clean, neat and good job, but I'm not going to worry about stuff that will likely not be seen.

Looking good, Lyle. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:
If you say you painted it cross eyed, looks pretty damn good. :giggles:
