Carlos! Great job wrestling with a vintage kit. I looked up some color shots of actual aircraft from the era and your palette is spot on! Congratulations, bud.

John and Bruce, thank you both for your kind words.

John, the finish line has been reached.

Bruce, aside from the black areas, I only had to worry about what shade of Aluminum to use. Everything else is pretty much decals color wise…

Ok, I’m calling this Cat finished

I’m gonna let the landing gear fully dry overnite, as it is a bit spindly. Tomorrow I’ll get a full proper finished multi angle bunch of photos taken and posted.

Congratulations! Nice job. The Bearcat is a hotrod and looks great in that livery.
Thanks,
John

John & John, thank you. The Bearcat is indeed a hot rod, and arguably the ultimate warbird sport plane. And I sure agree about the BMF being quite attractive. Much more so than the Gloss Sea Blue that they started their service lives wearing.

Wow.... she’s a beauty indeed! Love the choice of livery on her. Very attractive and eye catching. Well done, my friend! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:
