Hi Guys!

Post by Stuart »

Hi Guys,

Apologies for being rather quiet this month (you may not have noticed).

After New Years we've been on the final push to get the house ready for putting on the market & I've also had to prepare for a yearly audit for one of my clients - it's been totally manic!

We're nearly done, we had the first of four valuations last Friday - 50K more than we thought which is nice. Thankfully the market here is really buoyant so we should sell quite quickly as it's currently a sellers market in the county we live in - something about migration out of the city's after Covid apparently.

I have actually managed to build a model in the past two weeks - just a little MB kit, I'll update my workbench thread as I've also finished the Hurricane and Zero I was building.

Looking forward to getting caught up on the boards and hope you're all well.

Cheers!

Ugh... I hate moving. Amazing you were able to find time to work on kits. Good luck with the sale.
Thanks,
John

lol! Well it was just a old MB kit - about 40 parts so not too much agro.

Thanks - fingers crossed it goes well, we're looking forward to getting out of here.

Did you mention you are moving to North Wales? North of Hadrian's Wall? With no protection? Living amongst the barbarians? OH MY.

Glad things are going as you hoped.

lol!

Yes, we're moving (all things going well) to North Wales, however Wales is bolted on the western side of England, where as Hadrian's wall is on the Northern border of England, guarding us from the Scots! That being said, the Welsh can be a rowdy bunch :-D

We're are moving to a county called Conwy - this is a view of soon to be my local town.

There is also some good bird life in the mountains of North Wales, this is one of the local inhabitants - often seen flying at low level along the valley floors.

I sang for decades in choirs. Not much any more.
