Testors 1/48 Republic P-47D "Okie"
Re: Testors 1/48 Republic P-47D "Okie"
Boy that kit brings back memories as a kid. Built a slew of those and the monogram kits back when I didn't even know what Tamiya was! Nice job on the old girl.
It's up to you how much money you want to spend and how many new words you want to create "correcting" something.

Fine looking Jug Gary. I didn't know Testor's even made a Jug. Thanks for posting. Loved the "cleavage" bit....

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley

Thanks Joe! That old kit started life about 60 years ago as a Hawk model, much like the Testors Me-163 and all those 1/48 Testors bi-planes and air racers from the "Golden Age" of aviation. All of those were ex-Hawk kits I believe.lawdog114 wrote:Fine looking Jug Gary. I didn't know Testor's even made a Jug. Thanks for posting. Loved the "cleavage" bit....
