The faces of the men and women are always a bit haunting. Especially those in the landing craft. I like the one of Patton, too.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That burnt out T-26 (I think...) in the sunflower field really is waiting for someone to turn that into a diorama. The contrast between the sunflowers and the tank hulk is spooky.
