Potential Subjects

Highlighting the aircraft during the interwar period between WW 1 and WW 2. Military and civillian. There are some great and colorful subjects and a number of air racers. Tuild one, Build them all!

Runs from July 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022

That is so cool. :cool: I've read somewhere that every GB ever built, crashed. I don't know if that's 100% correct, but can you imagine taking one into combat?!? :wow:

it would have been fast, very good in turns, and yeah, probably crashed more than would have been shot down. But....

Here's a model that I've had in my collection for a long time, and the magazine that inspired it, published in June 1984. The model was built by James Steele, probably at about that same time, using the Williams Brothers kit.

Looks like a fun “what if?” project. Although by 1941, which the markings are for, I wonder how well it would have stacked up against the P-35, P-36, P-39, and P-40? :hmm:
The P-35 was a racer design that actually saw service as a fighter, so why not this P-45B?
