The bridge itself is completely finished. Steps glued in their spots (lost one step frame so I scratched built one using a spare railing post) and heads glued to their respective bodies prior to highlighting the brows and facial features. Patches and sleeve stripes still needs to be painted as well.

I’ll have to order Azure Blue for the chairs along with the Dark Green for the Humber kit.

Pics forthcoming.....

Guess I'm the odd man out, first I've seen or heard of this kit.

Your bridge looks awesome!!! All the colors are great. Where did you buy it? I've yet to figure out who sells Round2 kits. Odd thing is, Round2 is located about 15 minutes from my home ......but they don't sell stuff from there.

Oh man, how could you have issued these kits? I do t think that there was a store I went to that sold models back in the 70’s that didn’t carry the Star Trek kits, including this one.
Too bad that Round 2 doesn’t sell direct :hmm:

I completely forgot about that website. Haven’t visited it in years.
I do want to get the original Enterprise kit and the Klingon and Bird of Prey kits as well.
I do recall, then again I might be wrong. Wasn’t there a model kits of the accessories from the original Star Trek series? I recall seeing the recorder, the phaser, the hand held communicator/walk-in talkie.

Maybe I’m thinking it was a toy set at the time. I don’t know for sure.

I was wondering the same until you mentioned they were on the shelves in the 70's. Our age difference comes into play here. That decade I was chasing, uh, girls, and otherwise busy with learning to fly. It was the beginning of my modeling hiatus, which so many of hobby returnees have been though.

I know! About Round2, I mean! It drive me a little bit crazy knowing all those cool kits are sitting on shelves so close to me, and I can't do a thing about it.
