There were three underside versions according to my refs, Carlos. No white, partial white, as I am doing, and a more complete white that covered most of the undersurfaces. And probably individual variations of all three.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 7:07 pm Looking real sharp John. I didn’t realize that the entire wing undersides were not painted in the anti flash white.

Re: 1/72 Hasegawa B-47E
Finally manned up and installed the flaps on the B-47 today. The 3d printed rib parts were way too fragile to hold the flaps, so I cut off the actuators and replaced them with brass rod. I think this will be much less likely to be shedding flaps down the road, if it could even have gotten to the display case without doing that.

She's a big one... just as big as the old Monogram B-52 Stratofortress I did back in the 70s.

Good to see that you're still working on this one John! Looks like you don't have too much farther to go.

Not quite. B-47 wingspan is 116. B-52 is 185BlackSheep214 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 6:14 am She's a big one... just as big as the old Monogram B-52 Stratofortress I did back in the 70s.
