Six months to build one of the two or four engine bombers or transports is a bit too easy. If you stay straight OOB, and have plenty of bench time, two of those can be done in that timespan. Conversely, somebody could easily build a couple of their old 1/72 single engine prop driven fighters in a week.

Anybody have a horizontal stabilizer for a 48th scale Skyhawk one of mine is missing

Yeah, I hear you on that… I start many projects with the intent to build OOB. Yet it rarely happens. I almost always add or change a little something with a kit…
