Yea I do it when I feel I can get away with it. It's more fun and relaxing that way for me. The fit is good enough to try it and the wing fuselage join area is just one color - Tan -- so touching stuff up should not be difficult if needed.

There is no filler anywhere on the one I built in the 90's. I know that because I didn't paint anything but details. Nice kit.

Fuselage camouflage is done, if you dont count the underside... have to clear coat before I spray that as I may need to do some light sanding to tone down the light on dark overspray..
