Yeah it can be a pain in the arse. I generally just scribe in the missing detail - sounds mad I know, but once it's painted it's hard to tell.

Another option--You can always replace the sanded off lines with stretched sprue.

Not if you heat the sprue first. Makes it much easier to stretch.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Got a few parts together. I added the center section to the bottom wing. This is for the torpedo. Also put a few parts of the cockpit together. I'm also working on the outer wings.
