For some reason I'm not seeing the images, John.

Me neither but someone had a good suggestion of right clicking on the broken image icon and select open in new tab
Thanks,

This is a great looking build John. I believe I've only built this kit once when I was younger.

Re: John's Monogram T-28A
Sorry about the picture issues.
More progress. Having an issue with a gap on the left wing root, filled with Aves Epoxysculpt. The decals are terminal so I am making new ones. Also a gap above the horizontal stabilizer, it was made to be inserted between the fuselage halves but the openings are way too big. I fit it tight to the bottom as I think it will be easier to fill the gap on top. Not shown is I modified the prop with brass tubing so it will spin freely.

If anyone can fix those issues, I'm sure you can John.

Re: John's Monogram T-28A
More progress on the T-28A. I had to take some time to make new decals. I haven't used my ALPS printer since the printer that runs it crashed and I had it rebuilt, which meant reloading the printer driver and Corel Draw on the computer I use, which needs to be Windows XP. So all that is done and here is where the model is, with the prop and instrument panel decals applied. Decals tomorrow, most likely. Glad to know that chunk of lead I put in the nose cowl was sufficient. This model would very much prefer to be a tail sitter, and Monogram did supply a post to support the tail if needed.

Re: John's Monogram T-28A
OK, I lied. Tonight I painted the wing walk areas and slapped on the decals. There are a few blems to mess with but for the most part a layer of Alclad Aqua Gloss will send this on to the display case.

Great progress John. She's looking good and close to the finish line.
Thanks,
John
