Careful, men, if the Don sees you dissing a member of the (Monogram) familia, you may get an offer....

Here's one I built maybe 35 years ago. What's not to like? Sure beats the ESCI tribe.

Hey, I'm building that kit...
How can this ...

John - sorry I might have got confused there - I thought we were talking about the P-40? The Skyraider looks like a great kit - up there with the P-47.

Both of these are winging their way to me - both moulded before the merger as far as I can tell using scalemates. I've also put a bit in for an old Airfix weapons set, which if I win gives me some decent BOZ and Skyshadow pods, as well as JP233s. Fingers crossed.

Chris the P-40. Love the Skyraider. In fact I think I'm going to build the old 1/72 A-1E for this GB

Stuart, those are some great secondary choices.

Really not in the mood for a poor fitting, old kit at the moment.

You're not alone. I know the feeling too well with the Revell
P-61 Black Widow kit and others.

Oh I missed this news! Rreal sorry to hear that Stuart! It was coming along well I thought. That kit can be temperamental. It happens... I hope you find a better kit soon!

Well the Sparkvark turned up yesterday - I have to say I'm quite impressed with what I've seen.

Only one marking option, but Monogram included two sets of decals, and for some reason two canopies.

Looking forward to getting on with this one - I've wanted to build a Raven for a while, it'll go well with the Hasegawa Aardvark I got for Christmas.
