Well that ure didn’t apply to the A-10… the last Republic aircraft made for the USAF. Able to take off from novice short unimproved airfields or roadways….

Well this week I got the wingtip squadron color, anti glare panel, tail fin antenna, and steel areas masked off and painted…

Thanks Stuart and Lyle. I really like the appearance of the AK Real Colors Aluminum base coat. Nice and bright it is! And given plenty of time to dry and cure, the enamel trim and anti glare panels went over it with zero problems…. not to mention that clean up of a bit of overspray was accomplished using good old paint thinner with zero problems. Good thing using dissimilar layers.
