Revell Pro Modeler SB2C-4 Helldiver

Post by BlackSheep214 »

This kit was a joy to build. I've grown to love this old bird. I had not experienced any serious fit issues except the fact the life raft storage container would not fit where it's suppose to go. I will be getting PE prop blurs at some point. Here she is in all her glory...

This is where I'll be hanging her.

Well done, Tom! Based on the last picture, quite s really, too!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Well done, Tom. And you found the life raft! Too bad it found nutrients and grew under the bench.

Beautiful helldiver!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

I figured a way to hang it. Spent 45 minutes fishing wire thru holes currently present near the cowling. Had to glue fishing line to the wire and left to dry overnight. Tonight, I'll pull it thru and start tying them to prepare for hanging. The rear line is fished thru the tail rudder area.

May use either a small hook or thumb tack to hold it on the ceiling.
