D-Day Sword Beach Beachmaster

Post by Stikpusher »

“Calm Winston, calm…”

I’m building this for a “In the Movies” GB on another site.

This is a 1/35 resin figure of actor Kenneth Moore as Sword Beach Beachmaster Colin Maud, as seen in The Longest Day. The figure is by Scale Model Accesories, from the UK, is nicely detailed and I hope that I can do it proper justice in the paint work. It also includes his on screen British Bulldog companion Winston.

Thanks Steve. This should be a fun little project… providing that I don’t get too frustrated with the face painting…. :headslap:

That was a great character! I’m sure you will do it justice.

If you ask me Flanagan, there’s a lot of very peculiar blokes on this beach

Thanks Mike. It won’t be anywhere near Ski’s quality, but hopefully should turn out well enough…
