Ok, So having been bitten by the Luftwaffe bug, I'd like to do a Battle of Britian era 1/48 bf 110 to go with my 109 (is it a C or D variant?) and maybe a JU-87.

What would be the kits to go for?

The Eduard 110s are cherry...and so are their 109Es...even though they really screwed the pooch on the 109G-6...

As manny said the eduards 110's come out looking great, but they do have some fit issues. (At least they do on the 48 scale G series, not sure about others)

Eduard Bf110C kit. Tough fit, especially the nose and engine nacelles. Its worth the fight though, in my opinion.

Thanks forvthe tips guys - looks lile thats the way to go.

I'll just have to be careful around those poor fitting areas.

Eduard revised the mouldings after the C / D series. Fit of the engine nacelles is far better (but still not Tamiya like) on the E / F / G series offerings.
The old RoG Bf 110G is still a nice kit, too. If you don't mind about a mm too long or short here and there.
A recent build on a German forum.

If the fits better on the G's then we have a problem. I have a G-2 in the stash and Owl recently built the same kit, massive step between the nacelle and the wing.

hoooo, if the fit was "better" on teh G, Id hate to see what the earlier molds were like!!

it was nothing a bit of stretched sprue and filler couldnt handle, but it was in such an odd place to have to sand. For the reputation Eduard kits had, I was not expecting this kind of issue.

Some small gaps may still be there, but on my C-4 the whole nacelle parts were warped and out of shape.

Just a little reminder: The step on the lower side of the nacelles towards the flaps has to be there because the bump on the flap slides into the nacelle. On the following picture shown up left of the modellers thumb.
