Since I'm trying to avoid the Hasegawa B-47 and I'm waiting for replacement decals for the Hasegawa X-48-4 Ground Support Set A, I thought I might look at doing an F-16, since I don't want to be known as the Viper Virgin around here. I looked at a Hasegawa 1/72 and 1/48 kits, and the Tamiya F-16CJ, but those I really want to make an effort on and I don't want that big a distraction from the B-47, so I drug out a riff raff F-16. It has it all, ratty box, white plastic, not many parts, some paint to be frustrated with. Just what I need. But there is a tube of Ambroid with it! I wouldn't be surprised if this were one of my wife's garage sale finds. As you can see it is going pretty quickly, just a few hours into it at this point. I sure hope the decals keep their promise. The fit seems pretty good so far, if a little approximate in the speed brake area.

The “Viper Virgin”? That’s funny!
I see you have the Delux kit, too! Nothing cheap about you, John!
Like how it is going.

Thanks for looking in, all. I thought I should do something to prop this one up, I've included the Hasegawa Ground Crew Set A here which I have put much effort in to with my usual mediocre results with figures. They don't like the camera much, I think they do look better from more distance. With figures I mostly aspire to avoid embarrassment. It's one area where having poor color vision leaves me in an insecure place.

Hey now, the IDF has their ground crews trained to make an Indy pit crew worried for turnaround times between sorties.TheMongoose wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 2:27 pm Lots of potential here. What a pit, i mean, ground crew you have there
