My grandaughters

Post by LyleW »

Well, two of them anyway.

Ella, who has Spina Bifida, won the state championship for elementary age wheelchair racing this morning. There were not many racers, but she whooped them all. This is the first year for adaptive sports inJefferson County Public Schools. Proud of her.

Then, this afternoon, our oldest granddaughter was married off. Wow. Lovely ceremony. Cute couple. Wedding was outside and the sun was hot.

Bravo! I love hearing these great grandchildren reports! That was a super day for your family, Lyle and one to certainly be proud of. I can imagine how wonderful both achievements must've felt for Grandpa because being a proud grandparent is something I easily relate to. Good on both those young ladies! Long may they run! :shoutout:
