Wow, I remember those! Had some as well. We also had some 8mm cartoons that my Dad bought to run on the projector.....You know, the days before video and smart phones? No sound, though. I know we had a few Woddy Woodpecker, not sure if there was anything else. The projector and a bag with the films is in the garage.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yes sir, I had 'em too! I especially remember "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". Oh, that giant octopus! I also have a set show-casing the early days of the original "Six Flags Over Texas" in Arlington, Texas. Much there has changed since then.
Coincidentally, my wife and I were discussing these just last week, thinking how our young grandchirren might be amused, or maybe bemused, by them. Thanks for reminding me. I'll be dusting off the reels and viewer now.

Yes I do remember them. Good times as a kid.

If you really want to mess with them, set up a room and throw in a corded rotory phone on the wall, a pencil sharpener, a tube television set with antenna that shows only 4 channels with no remote, a record player with numbers 16, 32, and 45 with a stack of records.

Sure they were in my wheelhouse as a kid
Re: Viewmaster reels... remember them?
I had some too that were kept at my Grandparents' house with my He Man action figures. I think one was a Disneyland slide show and another was of dinosaurs.

Yep. I still have one. I loved my Star Trek reels.
