1/48 Tamiya Rufe

Post by keavdog »

Been a while (about a year!) and felt a little out of practice - but lots of fun

First time I ever had negative results from Flory wash - must be incomplete clearcoat on the bottom. Went with old pastels for light weathering on top.

Lots of residue left over from the Flory wash...not sure what happened but I figured the bottom of a seaplane would be dirty anyway :)

Thanks,
John

You’re done already?!

Two things… first & foremost, excellent looking build! You have completed an excellent looking Rufe.

Second… great photography! ‘nuff said 😉

Yes, it certainly was fast. And it looks great.

Not a lot of parts to this kit and really nice fit except the cowl needed some surgery.
The new house as pendant lights on the center island - solved my overhead lighting issue. Expensive solution :giggles:
Thanks,
John

She looks great!
