Sopwith F.1 Camel - Eduard 1/48 #8450

I do not like Eduard kits. But, it does have some nice detail. The kit number is 8450, which at first I thought was the parts count. Turns out to only have 103 parts for a craft that is maybe 4.5 inches long with the engine. Wowser. For what I remember about Eduard kits, this one seems a bit rough around the edges. "stout" sprue attach points, Somewhat muddy molding on the really small pieces. Several are about the size of 1/2 a grain of rice.
Sprues (Minus what I'd started)
The engine pieces. Notice the upper right corner piece. . . it is already pre-broken. Saves me the trouble. About half the rods are broken. Huge sprue attachents.
The rest of the sprues
Somewhat surprised by the clear sprue. Landing lights in the wings, it seems.
Nice decals. Individual guages and decals for the wicker seat. .
Pretty typical instructions for Eduard, or just about anyone, these days..
Which brings us to where we are today.....Yes, I lost parts already, but they were simple, straight pieces attached to the sidewalls of the cockpit.
